The cast is a delightful mix of queer identities -- nonbinary, trans, lesbian, gay, bisexual, asexual, aromantic, all get representation. The protagonist, Tar, is nonbinary and has autism and anxiety and I love their inner voice, the way they wrestle with who they are and how they relate to the people around them. One of the best parts is that while Tar has internalized some negative thoughts, for the most part the narration isn't judgey, either of Tar for being different or of other people for not understanding.
